文法 ちょっとくわしく
give は2つの目的語をとることができる:
give A （人） B （物） （A に B を与える）
言う必要がない時は A を省略して, give B とすることもあるが, B を省略して ×give A とすることはない.
A と B の位置を逆にする時は
give B to A とする.
to を省略して give B A とすると「B に A を与える」という意味になってしまうので注意.
